Prevx off to RSA - Well kind of.......

Two Prevx RSA conference delegates, Rupert Cook and Fernando Francisco made an unplanned stop at Shannon Airport after faulty hydraulics on flight BA287 from Heathrow to San Francisco on Saturday.

After noticing problems with the plane, the pilot decided the best course of action was to turn around mid-Atlantic and head for Shannon.

Speaking to Rupert this morning, he said everyone had managed to stay calm despite the possible crash landing scenario. Rupert's only difficulty had been adopting the brace position after such a large lunch. ;-) After spending the night in Shannon, meeting up with old acquaintances, Rupert’s next challenge is to locate his luggage which never made it on to the plane, needless to say Rupert is not too happy with Terminal 5.... hehe.

Here is a great blog post by Tom Espiner, who was on the plane.
