INSTALL.EXE has been seen to perform the following behavior:

• Can communicate with other computer systems using HTTP protocols
• Modifies Windows Initialization And System Settings Used On Start up
• This Process Deletes Other Processes From Disk
• The process hooks code into all running processes which could allow it to take control of the system or record keyboard input, mouse activity and screen contents
• Executes a Process
• Writes to another Process's Virtual Memory (Process Hijacking)
• This process creates other processes on disk
• Deletes an ActiveX component
• Adds an ActiveX component changing or modifying the function of your browser
• Registers a Dynamic Link Library File
• Adds products to the system registry
• Creates or uses a background service to access the Internet using HTTP protocols
• Injects code into other processes
• Performs DNS look ups to resolve URL IP addresses
• The Process is packed and/or encrypted using a software packing process
• Copies files
• Adds a Registry Key (RUN) to auto start Programs on system start up
• Creates a TCP port which listens and is available for communication initiated by other computers
• Terminates Processes
• Can communicate with other computers using TCP protocols

INSTALL.EXE has been the subject of the following behavior:

• Executed as a Process
• Has code inserted into its Virtual Memory space by other programs
• Created as a process on disk
• Changes to the file command map within the registry
• Executed from Temporary Folders
• Terminated as a Process
• Deleted as a process from disk
• Victim of a Heap Based Buffer Overflow Exploit
• Registered as a Dynamic Link Library File
• Added as a Registry auto start to load Program on Boot up
