We were fed up with switching different vendors who did not provide the solution that would fit our need. We tried Trend Micro, McAfee and Symantec. All had their limitations, some with the detection levels, others with the actual management of deployed clients.
After deploying the Prevx 3.0 Enterprise solution, we are in a better, safer place and working with Prevx support has been nothing short of exemplary. Answers to our question come fast and clear, and we feel that there is finally a vendor who is willing to go beyond and above their sale cycle and provide a genuine support and care for their customer.
Goal Structured Solutions
With having over 1000 stores nationwide, it is vital that we maintain the highest levels of malware protection within our network.
When our last Anti Malware solution let us down in a mission critical part of our business, we soon found that Prevx was the only vendor capable of removing the threats.
We have worked closely with Prevx for the last 2 years and used both their Prevx2.0 solution and now the Prevx 3.0 Enterprise solution, Prevx are always there to offer support and security guidance - when we do require support, we often receive remote/on-site support and a friendly voice!
Clinton Cards
In the past we used Prevx CSI to remove infected machines that already had two layers of security software on them. We used the top four security applications to protect our environment, but we still had workstations that were getting infected. Infected workstations could only be cleaned using Prevx software.
We have since moved all workstations both onsite and offsite to Prevx Edge. Prevx Edge offers our environment both protection from known threats but also a layer of heuristics protection that is unmatched to other security protection application I've used. Since using Prevx Edge, our environment has been protected against threats without any infections.
Precision Television
Over the past 2 years or so, we have been heavily involved in removing spyware/malware infections for our customers. Where many other companies look for a quick fix/removal which sometimes results in a full operating system rebuild, we have spent the time to learn about how these infections work and how they can be removed effectively. The biggest aid to our troubleshooting process has been the Prevx free detection tool. It has allowed us to identify infected files/processes and successfully remove them from our customers machines. Because of our high degree of confidence in the detection rate of the prevx software, we have decided to sell the enterprise solution onto our customers in order that they no longer need to contact us if a machine becomes infected, the infection is dealt with by Prevx 3.0 Enterprise.
It is helping reduce the cost to us as a service provider and is reducing the downtime that our customers may experience as a result of spyware infection.

Nowadays, in science life research, apart from state-of-the art microscopes, the PC has probably become the second most important tool for data acquisition, analysis and presentation. It is important in the field to rely on stable systems and high efficiency. In this regard, malware or computer virus infections can become most annoying and steal lots of time on being resolved. Although PCs at universities are usually well protected, when it comes to continue work at home, protection is more crucial. In three years of using Prevx malware detection and removal software, I appreciated the constant system surveillance and matching with the Prevx database when programs are installed. Prevx detected three infections on my machines in the past that were not detected by my other surveillance software. Desinfection is very easy and only a mouse-click and reboot away. I feel much more protected since using Prevx which gives me the time to concentrate on my work instead of time-consuming manual desinfection procedure.
