Detection only allows you to quickly and easily check and then subsequently monitor all your PCs for signs of infection, it is a great way to check if your existing security has been breached. Detection and malware removal allows you to fix infections which may have evaded your existing security or defeated their malware removal capabilities. Real time protection provides a powerful layer of defense against malicious software and can be used standalone, or for maximum protection alongside your existing security products.

Prevx 3.0 can be managed using the web based MyPrevx Business console, this is quick and easy. For larger enterprise deployments Prevx 3.0 Enterprise provides additional controls and acts as an aggregation point for products updates and the realtime interface to the Prevx threat database. Prevx 3.0 Enterprise and MyPrevx Business consoles both support malware alerts using email and SMS text messaging, making sure you know instantly an attack is detected.

Prevx 3.0 agent software which runs on each PC or end point has a tiny footprint and uses minute levels of system resource. It is approximately 800Kbytes and scans a typical end-point in less than one minute. The agent incorporates powerful malware detection of rootkits, Trojans, viruses, BOTs, worms, Spyware and Adware.

Even though the free program does not include malware removal, which may purchased at any time, it will help you identify tough rootkit, Trojan, virus, BOT, worm, spyware, and adware infections. Using the MyPrevx Business console you will know exactly which PCs and servers are infected, the location of each infection on each system and its threat level.

Your MyPrevx Malware Monitor console will also inform you about other issues that affect the security of your PCs and servers, such as disabled or out of date security software and firewall settings.

Management console (Web based or In-house - Which is for me?) Web-Based or In-House? We offer two methods to manage your Prevx product within your organization; Web-based and In-House. Choosing between these very much depends on your network setup. Web-Based - Each PC/Server is installed with the Prevx software. Each machine then scans independently and reports each time into the Web-Based control panel. This means each machine will need to have internet access, and be allowed through by any firewalls in order to comunicate - but has the advantage of little or no administrator maintenance. The Administrator can simply log into my.prevx.com to manage the licensed macines. In-House - Our In-House solution is for more advanced users, as this does require knowledge of server architecture and MSI deployment. Instead of being web-based, a decicated machine is instead installed with our Prevx Enterprise server software. This then becomes the central hub which all installed machines report into - meaning you only need to have one connection to the Prevx Cloud Database, opposed to each independent PC/Server.
